I'm not sure if my expectations of this period force the imagination of challenging situations or if they in fact are reality, but was wondering anyway if there is a general consensus of these periods and if anyone has particular coping skills they can elaborate on.
Thanks

Sun, May 25, 2008 - 12:14 PMWell, as hard as it is for a virgo to master patience, it is key. :-) -

Sun, May 25, 2008 - 2:04 PMVirgo here.... ::trying to master patience:: -

Re: Mercury Retrograde
Mon, May 26, 2008 - 2:50 PMExcuse me, but patience is supposed to be one of the ACES in Virgos deck of cards, that is something most maidens find as easy as a sunny walk in the park. Signs having trouble with waiting are fire signs in general, they often want instant satisfaction. And what to do when rocks behave unusual in space? Maybe the aquarian department have the answer... -

Re: Mercury Retrograde
Mon, May 26, 2008 - 6:30 PMvery patient virgo here... -
-
Re: Mercury Retrograde
Mon, May 26, 2008 - 6:58 PMYou don't know virgos one bit, Joakim. The last word I would ever use to describe a virgo is patient... -
-
Re: Mercury Retrograde
Tue, May 27, 2008 - 5:16 AMReally? What about the other "trump-cards" of the classic maiden deck then: the analysing & the concentration-ability to almost merge with the studied object? Fairy-tales & old tavern-keepers gossip? Virgo perhaps can be ANYTHING, a flexible "rubber-sign" that just becomes whatever someone says, a zodiac chameleon/shape-shifter/superhero? We who thought that Virgo had certain fixed strenghts & weaknesses (like other signs), discovered by the ancients over thousands of years, were wrong; we have absolutely no idea what we are talking about? -
-
Re: Mercury Retrograde
Tue, May 27, 2008 - 6:59 AMWhat you're describing as "discovered by the ancients".... I don't think I've ever seen these "discoveries", and "we" don't spout off whatever's in out head even if it doesn't make sense. Why don't you have a picture or any friends? -
-
This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
Re: Mercury Retrograde
Tue, May 27, 2008 - 8:54 AMAnd exactly WHERE have the material that folks seen as authorities, in zodiac-lore, collected their knowledge? It just fell from the sky? It jumped out of the pantry? They probably relied on knowledge that a few white-bearded fellows teached promising pupils in an unbroken tradition or just plain, written material called books!! What is it with these pictures & "friends", some Virgos value INTEGRITY & keep private stuff private; that´s perfectly normal in our part of the world & we like it that way! -
-
Re: Mercury Retrograde
Tue, May 27, 2008 - 1:28 PMYes, what part of the world are you from, and how can I trust your sources, if you're so intent on keeping them private? Hmmmm? -
-
Re: Mercury Retrograde
Tue, May 27, 2008 - 3:06 PMDid they spend the money for geography lessons on bigger arenas for driving monster-trucks!!? My sources, I wasn´t aware they belonged to me? Aren´t zodiac-signs archetypes, things stored in the collective unconsious of mankind, or something like that? A fox is a fox everywhere, and so is Virgo. -
-
Re: Mercury Retrograde
Tue, May 27, 2008 - 5:10 PMSee? That's where I tend to disagree with you. Your idea of a "virgo" or a "fox" or whatever you want to talk about is insulting, and just plain wrong most of the time! So, say what you will.... I will continue to really connect with true virgos, and real people. :-) -

Re: Mercury Retrograde
Wed, May 28, 2008 - 9:30 AMMaybe a "devil-doll", with the name JOAKIM printed between the horns, could be a popular accessory for some Virgos: a red hand-puppet they could blame for all the misfortunes in their lives? Then they would no longer have to take any responsibilities & just do the easy thing and curse this little hell-doll. I don´t know what it good it would do, but at least some people would feel better, or something like that. Perfect for group-therapy if many whiners at the same time needed to use foul-language to camoflage their own ignorance!

Re: Mercury Retrograde
Wed, May 28, 2008 - 7:16 PMThe speed of the virgo analytical mind can lead to impulsive decisions I've personally found. Thus my obsession with not doing the first thing that comes to mind and instead waiting on the reasonable thing that comes to mind. Tis a difficult thing to put into practice. And sorry for starting what turned into an odd interaction. I think this forum is meant for conversation and growth not wild claims. -

Re: Mercury Retrograde
Thu, May 29, 2008 - 9:07 AMMost Virgos are EFFICIENT & constantly strive for maximal production (if employed in a factory). Most Rams are IMPATIENT, they twist & shout if their food gets delayed! Earth is famous for its PATIENT members, perhaps the Bull is the master of that game. And Mercurys restless speed (in Gemini) is slowed down in most Virgos; they prefer to do one thing at the time. -
